Battery Boy presents the 5th Annual Hike for Hospice

For the fifth year we are inviting Hospice supporters, friends and neighbours to join us as we Hike for Hospice April 26- May 2, 2021 at Mud Creek Trail in Chatham.

“This year we are happy to be able to offer a hybrid event for our community. Participants will be encouraged to collect pledges and walk Mud Creek Trail anytime during Hike week. The trail will be set up with signs so it will feel more like past Hike’s but still follow all the local safety guidelines for social gatherings and distancing,” shared event chair Randi Bokor Caron. “Of course, if you can’t make it out to Mud Creek, you can still participate remotely by completing your hike wherever you would like!”

Registration for the virtual event is free but participants will be able to purchase a commemorative t-shirt, mask or memorial sign.

“This year we are offering the opportunity to purchase memorial signs that will be displayed along the trail throughout Hike week. They will feature the name, picture and message of a loved one who has passed. After Hike week, the purchaser would get to take home the sign as a keepsake.”

Pledges collected by hikers support the residents and families of Chatham-Kent Hospice. These vital funds will ensure families continue to receive compassionate, end-of-life care at no cost.

Hike for Hospice Chatham-Kent is proudly presented by Battery Boy and generously supported by MicroAge/MC Business Solutions, Tim Horton’s, and Watson Wealth Management Group.
